Voces Migrantes

I am excited to share that I was invited to be a part of the project Voces Migrantes under the artistic direction of binational artist Adriana "Bibi" Carson. On Saturday February 5th, I led a dance workshop at the Home of Hope and Peace (HEPAC) Hogar de Esperanza y Paz in Nogales, Sonora México for 125 refugee women in residence from México (Guerrero), Guatemala and Haiti. This was one part of the Voces Migrantes project. The project consisted of two full days of dance workshops for all HEPAC residents. Workshops were led by dance artists from Arizona and Sonora.
