This week, Buddy and I were residents at SPACE on Ryder Farm in Brewster, NY. During the day, Buddy played with new friends, swam in Peach Lake, and made lots of fun art projects while I worked on choreography in the barn. Thanks to SPACE on Ryder Farm, I finished a working draft of "Braceros" a piece about my father's experiences as a child migrant farm worker or bracero. Thank you to the interns and staff at SPACE on Ryder Farm for the extraordinary experience!! Thank you SPACE on Ryder Farm for supporting working artist parents!
