Stories from Home Master Classes at Southern Utah University

While in Utah, the company had the opportunity to dance with the amazing and talented dancers at SUU! 

On September 20th, 2024 Artistic Director Yvonne Montoya and company dancers Ruby Morales, Esteban Rosales, and Delia Ibañez taught not one, but two, master dance classes at SUU.

First we taught a two hour masterclass to the Dance Major & Minor students which was was nothing short of electric. Dancers took a Modern Dance class and learned some of the Stories from Home repertoire.

Then, we shared the joy of dance with the General Education/Dance Appreciation students with a class focused on storytelling and embodied memory exploring where stories and memories live in the body.

Both classes were amazing! A huge thank you to SUU Dance Faculty, all the dance students and everyone who joined us on the dance floor.
