New Work for David Herrera Performance Company

Earlier this year, I was invited by David Herrera Performance Company to create three new dances for a new evening length work "Órale" featuring the music of Chicano icon El Vez.

In March, I journeyed to San Francisco to work with the company for a week where I created a dance for the fun and uplifting songs "Viva la raza" and "Soy un pocho." I also co-created a piece to "Cuauhtémoc Walk" with the incredible cast. It was a fun an incredibly joyous week celebrating Pochísmo y la Raza.
