This significant funding, awarded through the General Operating Support (GOS) grant program, not only validates the organization's commitment to artistic excellence but also propels it towards a future of expanded impact and growth. The GOS grant is designed to provide essential support for the day-to-day operations, allowing us to focus on our core mission and programming.


Creative Capacity Grant Recipient from the Arizona Commission on the Arts

We are thrilled to announce that Safos Dance Theatre has been selected as a recipient of the Creative Capacity Grant by the Arizona Commission on the Arts! We extend our deepest gratitude to ACA for recognizing the importance of sustaining and nurturing the arts. The Creative Capacity Grant is designed to support day-to-day operating costs, allowing us to continue our mission of supporting dance unique to the US-Mexico borderlands experience. This invaluable contribution will empower us to enhance our programs, reach a wider audience, and contribute even more to the vibrant cultural landscape of the Southwest.


Community Support Grant Recipient from Arizona Community Foundation 

Safos Dance Theatre is known for its dedication to artistic excellence, cultural diversity, and community engagement. With this generous grant from ACF, Safos Dance Theatre will be able to expand its outreach programs, provide additional opportunities for local artists, and continue to create compelling performances that resonate with audiences of all backgrounds.


Projecting All Voices, a Program of Arizona State University 

In a momentous stride towards fostering diversity and inclusion, Safos Dance Theatre is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a generous grant from Projecting All Voices, a program of Arizona State University Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, and Arizona State University Gammage. This grant not only signifies recognition of the organization's commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices but also opens new avenues for innovative projects that align with our mission.
