Stories from Home at Silver City's Fiesta Latina

In June, an enthusiastic crowd joined us at the Light Hall Theater in Western New Mexico University in Silver City, NM for a workshop + performance of Stories from Home.

This event explored storytelling through dance and offered points of connection where audiences and dancers alike could share the similar histories of their Southwest communities. After performing excerpts of Stories from Home, the event ended with a Cumbia dance workshop led by dancer Ruby Morales.

This workshop + performance took place as a part of the Western New Mexico's Fiesta Latina. Thank you for hosting Western New Mexico University and for inviting the Stories from Home cast to dance with the Silver City community!
