Central and Northern NM Data Collection DITD

Earlier this month, Dance in the Desert Community Liaison, Martin and I traveled to communities in Central and Northern New Mexico to connect with local dancers and gather stories from the community. Our journey took us to Albuquerque, Taos, Española, and Santa Fe, New Mexico.

A highlight of the trip was the New Mexico Folk Dance Workshop taught by Lucy Salazar with music by Tios Mios. 

We are grateful to listen, learn, and share with dance artists in New Mexico. ❤️💛
