MPA Project interview with Ana María Álvarez

February 26, 2018

Today, wearing my  Motherhood and the Performing Arts (MPA) Project hat, I had the exciting opportunity to partner with Chicana Motherwork and the 2018 Arizona Binational Artist in Residency to interview artist mother, artistic director, and choreographer Ana Maria Alvarez of CONTRA-TIEMPO. We discussed mothering, creating dance, and joy as a radical practice. Check out the interview below. Thank you Chicana Motherwork for partnering with us!
